Reading about Rob

I am in my 30s - how in the world did I just discover Rob Lowe???  He had to have been a heart throb when I was younger and spent my days crushing on New Kids On The Block, Corey Haim, and Patrick Swayze.  Heck - I just now discovered he was in a movie with Patrick Swayze. (I must have been to busy dreaming about how I was the real Jennifer in Dirty Dancing because we had the same name.)  I never even heard of the hit movie Outsiders either.  I definitely lived under a rock!



Luckily I did finally discover him all thanks to his new book.  I'm a little ashamed to admit that celebrities fascinate me and I often enjoy reading their books. (I've read Barbara Walters, Chelsea Handler, Jenny McCarthy, etc.) When I saw Rob's book at the library, I thought to myself "hey, why not".  I actually really enjoyed it. It didn't give any juicy celebrity details (bummer) but it did give an interesting story of his life and share some of his first encounters with well known celebrities and musicians.  I guess if you enjoy an easy read and have any interest in his eyes, I mean, life story, give the book a try.  While you do that, I'm going to work on getting my hands on some of these hit movies from the 80s.
